GENERAL INFORMATION
LOCATION
Located at 561 kms., north of Lima. Capital of the Department of La Libertad.
ALTITUDE
The city of Trujillo is at 33 meter above sea level.
POPULATION
It has a population of 850,000 inhabitants.
CLIMATE
Has a Spring climate without marked extremes of hot or cold. During the summer (December-March) the average temperature is 24 degrees Celsius. The rest of the year has a moderate temperature with sunny days.
ACCESS / APPROACH
By Land:
Via the Pan-American Highway. Trujillo is connected to all the cities on the Peruvian coast, and to all the provinces of La Libertad. The trip on bus takes aprox. 9 hours from Lima. Daily departures.
By Air:
The Carlos Martinez de Pinillos Airport is located aprox. 10.5 kms. from the city of Trujillo via highway toward the Huanchaco bathing resort. The Trujillo - Lima flight is aprox. 45 min.
